Chicago City Council Considering Bed Bug Legislation

The Chicago City Council's Joint Committee on Housing and Real Estate and Committee on Health and Environmental Protection recently considered wide ranging bed bug legislation. The measure, which was introduced by three Aldermen late last year, assigns responsibilities to landlords, hotels, motels, tenants and pest management professionals in managing and preventing bed bug infestations.
