Cockroach Behavior & Control

Cockroaches are more than just a nuisance pest. They contaminate our food, spread diseases, and can even cause respiratory illness. Don’t miss this informative session to learn about the diseases these dangerous pests carry, as well as key biology and behavior information you need to take your cockroach control program to the next level. Additionally, learn what every PMP should know about formulation selection and label review. Critical IPM control solutions for challenging infestations will also be covered. Stinging Pests

This course will cover the basic biology and behavior of common stinging pests.  We will also take a deeper dive into insect sociality and how that affects the way we approach control.  Attendees can expect to learn Stinging Pest Best Management strategies around sensitive environments and protected or endangered species. Environmental stewardship and product runoff will also be covered with an emphasis on applicator safety and worker protection.

Wood Destroying Beetles & Fungus

When it comes to wood destroying organisms, termites get most of the attention!  This course will highlight the biology, behavior, and damage caused by the "other" wood destroying organisms.  We will touch on carpenter ants and bees, but focus most of the course time on Wood Destroying Beetles and Fungus.
